Last week, our residents were visited by Jean Hook from our local St Michael’s Church for their weekly praise and worship service at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
They enjoyed spending time together to practise their faith. Jean led them in prayer, a bible reading and a roaring chorus of a selection of Christian hymns and songs. She then shared a short sermon with them.
It is wonderful to see the positive impact of the service on our residents; they are always full of smiles and focus as they engage with Jean and the service she gives.
