Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home enjoyed a reminiscing activity last week.
We used some Daily Sparkle resources to prompt and initiate reminiscence discussions and our residents went out to our ‘Forget-me-not’ Tearoom to enjoy some tea, coffee and biscuits during the session.
They looked through different stories and events that had taken place on that day across the years and enjoyed completing a reminiscence quiz and crossword together.
They laughed and joked together whilst sharing their stories and memories. Good times!
