We’ve all been busy here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home planning our garden for the summer.
We’ve had several meetings deciding what we’ll need to sort out and what we want to plant in it.
Once we were all decided, we headed out to our local garden centre to find and buy the plants. We bought plenty of seeds to try. Last year, we had a spectacular herb garden, filled with fresh coriander, mint, lemon balm, parsley, basil and more. We had an abundance of flowers too, that filled the garden with lots of vibrant colours.
We had a lovely time together ticking off our shopping list and of course, after a long morning shopping, we had to refuel with tea and cake.
Now we can’t wait to get outside!
