We all love the run up to Christmas here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home and our resident have enjoyed some wonderfully festive activities over the last couple of weeks.
The patrons at St Michael’s Church are very kind to us throughout the year and we always enjoy their events. This year they kindly offered to come into our Home to give our residents their own carol service. We all sang festive carols together one afternoon, which was lovely.
Many of our residents enjoy the Sunday Service at St Michael’s and they have a gorgeous nativity scene displayed at the moment, plus a breathtaking tree which we’ve loved admiring.
We are very grateful for St Michaels’ contribution towards our residents’ spiritual well-being.
