We celebrated all things Scottish at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home on Thursday 30 November to mark St Andrew’s Day together.
We decorated everywhere in the Scottish colours of blue and white, and had highland music and the sounds of bagpipes playing in our Home.
Our residents enjoyed a Scottish-themed afternoon tea together with delicious traditional shortbread and decadent millionaire shortbread. Yum!
Everybody loved dressing up in their Scottish hats and reminiscing about times they have visited Scotland in the past. We also shared different facts that we knew about the Scotland isles.
It was a wonderful day spent together celebrating Scottish culture.
