Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home enjoyed two of their regular community outings this week.
They visited our friends at St Michaels Church for their community coffee morning, which is always something we look forward to. Our residents are always welcomed there with open arms and it is a lovely opportunity for them to enjoy a hot drink and homemade slice of cake over a chat with friends.
We also visited our local Farmers Market in Wilmington as our residents love having a look at the local produce on sale and the homemade craft items they can find. This week they decided that they wanted to visit the cake stall to buy their favourite sweet treats, and discuss which cake was the yummiest!
