Staff and residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home warmly welcomed ‘The Big Sing Choir’ on Friday 17 December who visited us in the morning and sang for us all. Our residents loved listening to them!
The Sonya Lodge Christmas party
Everyone at the Lodge had a blast in the afternoon on Friday 17 December when we held our annual residents’ Christmas party. We celebrated with a scrumptious buffet and entertainment from one of our favourite singers – Jasmine. There was lots of dancing and fun!…Check out our cheeky elf – staff member Sarah (Senior Carer)!
Mini bus trip to see the festive lights
Our Recreation and Well-Being Lead – Jo, and Senior Carer – Chantelle, here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, had the wonderful idea to drive our residents around in our minibus at the weekend.
They toured our local villages to see the festive lights that members of the community have put up around their houses. We decorated the minibus with tinsel and lights, and our residents donned festive hats. It was great fun!
