We enjoyed another of our weekly visits at Sonya Lodge Residential Home from Gizmo the Pet Therapy dog and his lovely owner Maria.
Our residents love it when Gizmo comes to visit! As always, he was eager to greet each of our ladies and gents and provide them with comfort and support. Many of our residents previously owned their own dogs and highly value this time with Gizmo. It also leads on to wonderful conversations, with our residents sharing stories with one another about their beloved pets.
Gizmo offers a wonderful engagement opportunity for all our residents and it is wonderful to see the mutual adoration between Gizmo and everyone he meets! He really loves a cuddle and all the attention.
We all feel very privileged to have these wonderful visits.
