One of our residents celebrated his birthday recently and requested to celebrate with some of his friends from Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home over a drink at our local pub, The Plough.
We brought the party to the pub as we turned up in our party hats and decorated our table with banners!
Our residents all chose their favourite tipple and then raised their glasses in a toast to the gentleman celebrating his special day; we then filled the pub with a roaring chorus of ‘Happy birthday!’.
We all had a wonderful time and are looking forward to our next trip together to the pub.
