Every Tuesday, St Michaels Church in Wilmington provide ‘The Coffee Stop’ – a time for members of the local community to meet together for a coffee and slice of homemade cake, and our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents are regular attendees.
Our ladies and gents always jump at the chance to see their community friends and recently enjoyed cups of tea and coffee, while devouring delicious slices of lemon drizzle cake, tea loaf and Victoria Sandwich cake.
Everyone had a great time chatting, laughing and joking with friends.
We are already counting down the days to our next visit there!
