Sunday 31 December was New Year’s Eve and we celebrated in style here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home!
Our residents enjoyed a beautiful roast dinner with all the trimmings for lunch and to ease into the afternoon, we had a drinks trolley with lots of different treats including choices of wines, sherry, gin, mocktails, fizzy drinks and a selection of chocolates.
After this relaxation period, it was time for the real fun! We got out our casino table and played roulette and our residents loved it!
They picked their numbers to bet on and how many chips to lay down. Some residents stood to play but could also play seated too if they wished.
It was a lovely way to end the weeks of fantastic festivities at our Home!
