We all became chick-parents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home over the Easter weekend!
We recently had a delivery of chick eggs and all of our residents took turns keeping watch over them in our incubator.
The eggs finally started to hatch at the weekend and all of our residents and staff were in awe as our eight tiny black chicks broke their way through the shells.
Our residents have loved spending time with – and taking caring of – our gorgeous fluffy chicks since they hatched.
It was definitely a wonderful and magical Easter treat for all of us!
