We love our sweet treats here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, so we were all very happy to celebrate National Chocolate Ice-Cream Day together this month!
Our Activities and Well-Being Lead, Jo, became our ice-cream lady for the day and set up our activities trolley with an array of different chocolate ice-cream – not forgetting the ‘ice-cream van’ music – as she made her way around Sonya Lodge!
Our residents and staff chose from traditional scoops of indulgent chocolate ice-cream, chocolate arctic role, mars ice-cream bars, choc-ices, maltesers ice-creams and chocolate button cones. Yum yum yum!!
We all enjoyed this delicious treat and chuckled at Jo’s ice-cream trolley as she delivered our goodies.
