Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents receive a weekly visit from Jean who provides them with an in-house Christian praise and worship service.
Jean is a lay minister from our local church, and our residents love seeing her when she visits them.
This week Jean celebrated her 70th birthday and our ladies and gents decided that they wanted to celebrate with her by making her a beautiful homemade card that they all signed.
Jean came in to provide her weekly service that focused on the start of advent. After this beautiful service, our residents presented Jean with her birthday card and sang a roaring rendition of ‘Happy birthday‘.
