We were honoured to celebrate the birthdays of three more of our residents recently; Joan celebrated her 82nd birthday, Maggie her 77th birthday and Brian celebrated turning 83 years young!
Our team decorated our Home with birthday banners and balloons and each received a delicious birthday cake made by our Chef. Our residents love supporting each other on their birthdays and were very happy to sing a rousing chorus of ‘Happy birthday’ and then help them to eat their cake by having a slice with them!
Joan, Maggie and Brian received lots of lovely cards and presents from their friends and family, as well as from everyone here at Sonya Lodge.
Maggie loved the beautiful flowers she received from her daughter and grandson, Joan was thrilled with her new slippers from her daughter and Brian was over the moon when he opened one of his presents to discover a box of chocolates (he loves a sweet treat!).
