This past Saturday at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home was our George and Angela’s 67th wedding anniversary. Our lovely couple were married on the 16 March in 1957 in Farnborough.
The couple received their 60th wedding anniversary letter from the queen seven years ago which they still have. On Sunday they enjoyed celebrating with everyone at the Lodge and received a present from all their friends here, with a card and balloons.
They also enjoyed a lovely visit from their son Adrian and daughter-in-law Nikki when they had an afternoon tea with a Victoria sponge.
In the evening, our Chef David made them a lovely cake to celebrate with, which they kindly shared with everyone.
It was a really lovely day all round to celebrate such a special couple.
