Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home ladies and gents were treated to a fantastic ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ show last Wednesday, with an amazing performance by Mimi.
Every song had a different outfit which was transitioned beautifully. The outfits were stunning – sparkles, sequins, bows, ruffles and more! One of our resident’s favourite outfits was Mimi’s Dolly Parton costume which was totally pink and frilly. It was eye-catching for sure! Another favourite was ABBA when Mimi was dressed as one of the Dynamos from Mamma Mia.
It was not long before most of our residents were up dancing and twirling around with Mimi. Some of our more confident residents even had a go on the microphone. It was one of those shows that we all didn’t want to end!
