At Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, we are very grateful for the community around us and have lots of lovely things to do locally.
Last week we ventured to our local church coffee morning and enjoyed hots drinks accompanied by delicious sweet treats – a selection of fruit cake, biscuits or Victoria Sandwich on offer.
Later on in the week we went to our local Farmers Market. We absolutely love it there! There’s always lots of different bits and bobs to look at and two of our ladies picked up some beautiful bracelets. This was followed by a jam doughnut and a slice of millionaire shortbread and a cup of tea, of course!
Our community is full of very kind people and we always enjoy local events (…and an occasional slice of cake!).
