Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home were sad to hear of the passing of our beloved Queen last month and wanted to mark the occasion together.
We made a remembrance area with information and pictures about the Queen and her amazing reign. As part of the display we made a remembrance tree where residents were able to write messages of thanks and condolence.
Some of our residents gathered together to watch the funeral service on television and everybody at Sonya Lodge then celebrated the Queen’s life with a royal street party themed afternoon tea.
