Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents George and Angela were keen to visit our local museum, so we promptly arranged a trip for them both to Dartford Museum recently.
They were full of smiles throughout this trip and fascinated by some of the local exhibitions. Angela particularly enjoyed the old-fashioned shop and till exhibit. She reminisced about this set up and her time running her own shop.
After visiting the museum, the pair walked around the local park before stopping at a cafe for a hot drink.
What an interesting trip. Angela and George have been telling everyone about it, so we think we might by paying the museum another visit soon with some of our other residents.
