Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents who follow the Christian faith enjoyed their in-house praise and worship service with Jean from St Michaels Church last week.
Jean works hard to ensure that these services are engaging for our residents, especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
To do this, she keeps the service short (no longer than 45 minutes) and ensures that the sermon is always sensory-based which lots of visual aids. This week she used bubbles, which everyone loved!
