Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home were excited to have another visit from Gizmo last week.
Gizmo brings smiles to our residents’ faces as he sits on their laps for a cuddle. We are never quite sure who enjoys these moments more, Gizmo or our ladies and gents!
Pet Therapy is an integral part of the activities we provide for our residents here at The Lodge. Our residents find these visits very calming and therapeutic, and they also spark many conversations when residents and staff will reminisce about pets they have owned in the past.
