Celebrating Cherry and Betty’s birthday
Residents Cherry and Betty at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home both share the same birthday, so it meant double celebrations for our two special ladies recently.
We decorated the Home with banners and balloons, and then presented both Cherry and Betty with some cards and presents from everyone at Sonya Lodge. They both then received special birthday visits from their families and the celebrations created a party atmosphere within the Home.
At the end of the day, they were both presented with their own birthday cakes and our residents all joined in with a roaring rendition of “Happy Birthday”. Cherry and Betty had a wonderful day and it was an honour for us all to join in with their celebrations.
