Many of our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents enjoy spending time together chatting while creating art.
This is a very relaxing and calming activity for our ladies and gents that also encourages use of their fine motor skills.
The recent group produced some beautiful art pieces using colouring pens, pencils, and magic water painting.
Puzzles and bingo
It was also time for some fun and to challenge our brains this week!
This meant that we enjoyed some of our residents’ favourite activities of puzzles and bingo. Our residents worked together to complete a selection of puzzles and mazes.
They then enjoyed a reminiscence-themed game of bingo that not only brought out their competitive side, but also got everyone chatting and sharing stories. Great fun!
