Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch this year.
Everyone sat together, our tables were set with festive decorations and Christmas crackers and Sonya Lodge was filled with the sounds of everyone’s favourite Christmas songs.
Once all the crackers were pulled, comical cracker jokes shared, and Christmas hats placed on our heads, we tucked into our delicious Christmas meal.
Our residents enjoyed a comforting bowl of tomato soup to start, followed by a traditional Christmas roast turkey dinner with all of the trimmings. To complete their festive feast, everyone enjoyed a selection of tempting desserts, ranging from Christmas pudding, to cakes and ice-creams.
We all had a fantastic meal together with wonderful company. It was the perfect way to celebrate Christmas Day together.
