Last week we said farewell to our Home Manager Ami. Everyone at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home and Nellsar was sad to see her leave as she has been a wonderful Manager and member of our Sonya Lodge family.
Of course, our residents and team could not see Ami go without giving her a wonderful send off. Our ladies and gents made her a beautiful, colourful card filled with heartfelt messages and we also presented her with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, a bottle of her favourite tipple and some gifts to treat herself with.
Ami was joined by our residents, colleagues and some visitors from Nellsar to enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea. Our Home was filled with smiles, chatter, laughter and tears as everyone shared some stories about Ami and said their farewells.
As Ami left the building, our team created a human archway for her to walk through and gave her a huge cheer.
We are all extremely grateful for everything that Ami has done to support our residents, team members and Home. She has made us all a better team and continued to inspire and push us to continually improve so that we can provide an amazing happy Home for our residents with exceptional person-centred care.
We would like to wish Ami all the best in her endeavours and look forward to seeing her visit us for future events and parties. Thank you and good luck Ami!
