We danced the afternoon away at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home last week, with a fantastic funky 1970s party!
We loved singing and dancing to all of the classic 70s party tunes and our staff and residents dressed up in flares, glitter, flowers and wigs from their wardrobes!
After a fun-filled afternoon, we rounded off our day with a traditional 70s buffet. Our residents loved choosing from the classics that included sandwiches, cocktail sausages, crisps, vol-au-vents, cakes, and cheese and pineapple. What a nostalgic feast!
We all had a fabulous day and enjoyed reminiscing over the many stories everyone had from this very memorable decade.
