Many of our residents love the visits we receive from children here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
Recently, we had a wonderful visit from some local pre-school children who came to see our residents and it was a joy to see our ladies and gents interacting and playing together with the children, with lots of big smiles!
Some of our other residents also like to spend time with our life-like baby doll and enjoy reminiscing about children they have raised and cared for while showing us all how it’s done.
Many residents find this activity very therapeutic and it can have a really positive impact on emotional wellbeing.
