With the start of the festive season, our residents from Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home were full of excitement as they made their way to St Michael’s of All Angels Church to enjoy its wonderful Christmas Fair. Our ladies and gents had such a lovely time exploring the festive stalls – trying their luck at the Tombola, browsing the handmade arts and crafts and picking up some charming keepsakes to take home.
After all the shopping and fun, everyone was ready for a well-deserved treat! Our residents happily tucked into an assortment of delicious homemade cakes, perfectly paired with a warm cup of tea or coffee.
It was fantastic seeing everyone’s faces light up as they enjoyed the beautiful decorations and twinkling lights, and friendly chats with familiar faces from the local community which made the day even more special. What a joyful outing filled with festive cheer. A wonderful way to begin the Christmas season together!
