Pet Therapy
At Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, we absolutely love our animal visitors – and we were thrilled to welcome back the adorable duo Charlie and Gizmo for a recent Pet Therapy visit. Brought in by their lovely owner Maria, these two little dogs never fail to lift everyone’s spirits.
Our residents were all smiles as they enjoyed cuddles, strokes and plenty of furry affection. Charlie and Gizmo’s playful personalities brought a real sense of warmth to our Home. It’s always such a joy to see how much comfort and happiness our residents find in spending time with animals. We can’t wait to see this delightful pair again soon!
Bingo fun
“Eyes down for a line!” and “Eyes down for a full house!”
Bingo is always a highlight of the week here at The Lodge! Our residents love gathering together for a lively game of prize bingo, complete with plenty of friendly competition and a wonderful selection of sweets and treats for the winners.
There’s always excitement in the air as numbers are called and everyone races to shout out “BINGO!” It’s a great way to enjoy some fun and companionship, keeping minds active and spirits high.
