Farmers Market
Some of our residents from Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home visited our local Farmers Market in Wilmington last week.
Our residents had lots of fun as they chatted with people from the local community, enjoyed a hot drink and homemade cake, and bought some of the local produce.
Wish List Starbucks trip
Last week we also took our resident George out to fulfil something from his ‘wish list‘ with him.
George loves a good cappuccino and said that he would love to go out with our Activities Team to a ‘proper coffee shop‘. We gave him some choices of coffee shops and he selected our local Starbucks.
George was thrilled to be at Starbucks! He ordered himself his favourite cappuccino and a slice of cake. This may seem like a simple trip, but this holds so much importance to George and it was a pleasure for us to make this wish come true for him.
