Road trip!
On Tuesday 21 September some of our residents from Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home took our minibus for a road trip out to Danson Park in Bexley.
Danson Park is the second largest park in Bexley and is designated Grade II on the English Heritage register of parks and gardens of special historical interest.
Our ladies enjoyed a gentle stroll around the gardens, taking in the lovely views and ponds, followed by a refreshing cup of tea and biscuits in the cafe. A lovely way to share an afternoon with friends.
A visit from Lois
Karen is a well known friend of ours at Sonya Lodge who has joined our team as a volunteer with her PAT dog Lois, a beautiful Labrador.
Lois brought so much joy into our Home, as our residents spent time petting and stroking her. She has such a calm temperament and loved all the attention!
Bingo fun
Check out our ladies enjoying tea and bingo! Bingo is a firm favourite at the Lodge and it’s always lovely to see friends enjoying a game together.
