We love a party at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home and Halloween gave us the best excuse to dress up and get in the spooky party spirit!
We started our day with carving pumpkins together. Our residents designed the spooky faces themselves and scooped out the pumpkin seeds. We then carved their designs to complete the scary pumpkins.
It was then time for our residents to get dressed up for the party. Our residents chose various face paint designs and Halloween themed temporary tattoos. They then put on their costumes and accessories to complete their spook-tacular looks.
We decorated the Home with ghoulish decorations and lights and were joined by our fantastic singers, Jasmine and Doug. They got the music flowing and everyone joined them on the dance floor. We partied the afternoon away with residents, staff, and friends and families.
After working up an appetite on the dance floor we all enjoyed a delicious buffet together with sandwiches, pies, crisps, chicken, pizzas, and creepy cakes. It was a fantastic day and so much fun was had by everyone!
