It is that time of year again when we need to get busy in our garden at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, now that the good weather approaches.
Our green-fingered residents set to work outside; starting by tidying everything up after the colder weather, they pulled up weeds and twigs to be composted.
They then prepared our pots in the garden with fresh soil so that they are ready for our new plants and flowers to be planted.
Our residents really enjoyed this activity in the garden and spent time with the staff telling us all about their previous gardens and their favourite plants and flowers.
A wonderful session in the fresh air!
