We all had fun on Monday 6 December here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home when we got busy decorating our Christmas trees, with the help of some of our residents.
Don’t they all look pretty with their different colour themes!
And to add to the festive feel, we had lots of giggles on Elf Day when our Home was alive with cheeky elves, in their best outfits.
Wendy (Housekeeping) won best dressed Elf, closely followed by Jo (Well-Being Lead), Rachel (Carer), Grace (Carer), Shane (Maintenance) and Sally (Dining Room Assistant) – what a jolly bunch!
Our residents had fun too making personalised paper elves, with their own faces! They look brilliant displayed as Christmas decorations.
We’re all feeling fantastically festive now!
