A frequent activity we enjoy here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home is our Daily Sparkle afternoon tea.
We love receiving our Daily Sparkle magazines and look forward to flicking through each segment.
We normally all get together with a cup of tea and a biscuit and go through it, taking in every page, each picture and all of the quotes. We always look forward to the quiz at the end too.
These magazines feel like such a treat as they’re so well put together and provide a great way to encourage reminiscing. There are all different subjects and always something in there for everyone; each time it really gets everyone talking.
We love magazine club, especially when it’s Daily Sparkle themed!
