We were amazed to discover that there is a whole day dedicated to celebrating white chocolate – ‘National White Chocolate Day’ on Friday 22nd September!
Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents were all up for the challenge of celebrating this day and were very excited when we came out with our treat trolley, filled with some of our residents’ favourite treats.
These included popcorn, fizzy drinks and pic-n-mix sweets, but with it being white chocolate day we ensured that there was also a variety of different white chocolate goodies to try. Our ladies and gents loved choosing their snacks from the trolley and were all keen to try some of the white chocolate.
This was such a lovely activity which brought lots of joy to our residents as it reminded them of going to the sweet shop to choose some of their favourite treats.
