Enjoying coffee, cakes, and chats together
Many of our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home love socialising with each other and having a good catch-up so coffee mornings are always a preferred activity. Our residents enjoy attending coffee mornings both at St. Michaels Church and within the Home.
Brian and Roy visited the Coffee Stop at St. Michaels Church this week to visit friends from the local community. Whilst there they tucked into a delicious lemon drizzle cake and homemade chocolate chip cookie. They had lots of chats with members of the church community and have said that they are looking forward to their next visit to see them again.
Other residents enjoyed our Home hosted coffee morning. Our residents enjoyed a hot drink with a slice of homemade cake. Our Chef Steve made a delicious mandarin cake and a beautiful chocolate cake. Our ladies and gentlemen loved the cake and were keen to pass their compliments on to the Chef.
