Most Sundays at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home usually start with a service at our local church; a number of our residents really value these services, so we ensure they have access to take part.
For others here at the Lodge, Sundays are about watching some television and having a cooked breakfast. Whatever is preferred, it can be made here. Easy like Sunday morning!
This Sunday some of us attended the church service and then enjoyed a Sunday roast with all the trimmings, followed by a wonderful film afternoon, in our dedicated cinema room which we love.
To end a perfect Sunday, we enjoyed an afternoon tea with homemade pink cupcakes. Delicious!
