National Cheese Lovers Day
We had a treat in store for all our fans of cheese at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home recently when we celebrated National Cheese Lovers Day on Thursday 20 January.
We hosted a cheese tasting session with lots of samples of various cheeses, which our residents thoroughly enjoyed.
The fun and festivities continued with a cheese-themed quiz with lots of smiles and laughter. A delicious day to remember!
National Chocolate Cake Day
To celebrate National Chocolate Cake Day on Thursday 27 January, our residents got busy showing off their baking and cake decorating skills.
They baked a delicious chocolate cake and then had lots of fun decorating it with chocolate ganache and sprinkles. Doesn’t it look brilliant!
Everyone enjoyed a well earned slice of cake and cup of tea. Yummy!
