Victoria from our Activities Team at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home turned 21 on Thursday 25 May.
All our staff and residents wanted to celebrate this special birthday with Victoria and spoil her rotten!
Our ladies and gents made her a special homemade card that they all signed with special personalised messages. They also showered her with hugs and celebratory cheers.
Victoria was presented with a beautiful birthday cake, made by our Chef, which of course was shared with all of our residents, after they had sung a roaring rendition of ‘Happy birthday‘ to our birthday girl.
Our residents also then joined Victoria in our tearoom for a very special afternoon tea. There were cakes, tarts and sweet treats a-plenty. We also had to have doughnuts as Victoria’s birthday fell in the middle of National Doughnut Week. Perfect!
The tea party was full of smiles and laughter as everyone spent quality time together and devoured the delicious treats.
