We celebrated VE Day in style at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home!
Our Home was filled with Union Jack bunting and flags and our tables were laid in patriotic colours with beautiful decorations.
Our residents enjoyed a special VE Day menu with a stunning roast dinner and a selection of delicious desserts.
After dinner, everyone enjoyed a ‘proper knees-up’ to all of the war-time classics – such a wonderful sing-a-long and dance.
We all had a lovely day together to celebrate and remember this special occasion.
