We have recently enjoyed birthday celebrations for our lovely ladies Pat, Ellen, and Pauline here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
Pat and Pauline both celebrated their 82nd birthdays and Ellen celebrated turning 97 years young!
Our ladies were treated like royalty on their special days; our team at Sonya Lodge decorated their rooms with birthday banners and balloons and they enjoyed opening presents and cards from their friends, family and everyone at Sonya Lodge.
Each resident spent their special day doing their preferred activity. Whether it was being pampered with a hand massage, enjoying a chat with friends, partying with family, or singing and dancing to their favourite music.
Our three ladies also received a beautiful birthday cake each which was accompanied by a raucous rendition of ‘Happy birthday‘ sung by our residents and staff.
What an honour to celebrate these special days with Pat, Pauline and Ellen.
