Many of our residents here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home have a sweet tooth and so you can imagine the joy it brings when our sweet shop trolley goes around the Home!
The sweets are in traditional glass jars and we always have the old fashioned weighing scales too; Our residents enjoy choosing and weighing out their sweets.
This always sparks conversations where they reminisce about the old sweet shops they visited in their youth.
