Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home love a magazine and we have an abundance of them. From health, to cooking, baking, gardening and seasonal – we have it here!
One morning, some of the residents grouped together reading magazines and nattering. This was a great social stimulating activity. People then started swapping magazines and sharing their thoughts about the magazines.
We now, at Sonya Lodge, have a bit of an ‘unofficial magazine club’; I think we will have to make this a regular thing.
