Creative flower arranging
This week, our talented residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home enjoyed a relaxing and rewarding flower arranging session, working together to create beautiful floral displays to brighten our Home. Using an array of fresh flowers, our residents carefully arranged their bouquets, enjoying the sensory experience – from the vibrant colours and delicate textures to the lovely natural scents.
The activity not only offered a creative outlet but also encouraged calm and connection as everyone chatted and shared ideas. Once their floral masterpieces were complete, our residents thoughtfully chose the perfect spots around our Home to display them. Beautiful!
Birthday wishes for Keith
We were also delighted to celebrate Keith’s birthday this week. He spent the day opening cards and presents from friends and our team members, including a box of his favourite chocolates, a bright birthday balloon, and a lovely personalised card that brought a big smile to his face.
The celebrations continued into the evening, with a beautifully decorated birthday cake, prepared by our talented Chefs, and everyone gathered to sing ‘Happy birthday‘ to him.
