Friday 23 June marked National Pink Day which aims to celebrate the meaning, history and beauty of the pale shade of red which is often associated with femininity, sensitivity and tenderness. To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a creative session together here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
Our residents got to work creating some beautiful pink-themed arts and crafts using a selection of foam stickers, glitter, coloured card, pencils and pens to form their masterpieces.
This activity was perfect for our residents to express their creativity and practise their fine motor skills.
