Many of our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents love nature and wildlife and so they were keen to join in with National Feed The Birds Day.
We were joined by our pre-school friends to make a selection of different bird feeders. Our residents and children had lots of fun as they got to work with the messy task of mixing together all of the ingredients. Once the mixing was completed, they created bird feeder wreaths and hanging bird feeder cups and saucers.
When they were finished, our residents took them into the garden to hang them up. They enjoyed sitting by the windows watching our feathered visitors as they came to feast on the treats.
