We held our amazing Carnival at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home on Friday 25 August, hosted by our Well-Being Champions Jo and Deanne.
Staff dressed up in colourful clothing including tutus and head dresses, and we had decorated hats and handmade masks too, so we could all get into the carnival mood!
We had lots of fun activities to try at our Carnival. Our residents and staff enjoyed;
- A coconut shy
- A ‘throw the bean bag at the muscle man’s face’ photo booth
- Candy floss and sweets
- Homemade punch
- Hook a duck ‘indoor style’ (with no water)
We served an amazing street style lunch of chilli con carne or traditional hot dogs, with a side order of chips. Yummy!
Simply fun all day long, with lots of dancing too – we loved it!
