Last week, we were delighted to welcome a very special guest to Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home – Dude, the most charming Shetland pony! Beautifully groomed and wonderfully gentle, Dude is specially trained to interact calmly with people, making him the perfect visitor for our residents.
This friendly pint-sized pony brought so much joy and excitement to our Home, it was heart-warming to see how everyone responded to his presence. He was very affectionate and well behaved as he made his way around our ladies and gents.
Everyone loved their time with him and we are looking forward to him coming back to visit very soon.
